Kwara Court Sentences 3 Men to Death Over Infinix Note 11 Robbery

The Kwara High Court has sentenced three men to death by hanging for robbing a man of an Infinix Note 11 smartphone at gunpoint. Two women were acquitted of illegal firearm possession charges due to lack of evidence.

The court found the men guilty of the crime committed in 2024. The judge expressed sympathy for the convicts but upheld the verdict.

In a separate case, another man and his sister were also sentenced to death for offenses involving murder and kidnapping in 2023.
