Ogunmodede Named Technical Adviser for Kano Pillars

Kano Pillars appointed Ogunmodede as their Technical Adviser during a media event held at the club's secretariat in Kano on Saturday. The 46-year-old tactician, who has previously served as an assistant coach for the Super Eagles, outlined his vision for the club, promising to instill a philosophy anchored in discipline and an unyielding pursuit of victory.

Ogunmodede aims to lead Kano Pillars to success in the 2024-2025 season, with goals to compete in the Federation Cup, league, CAF Confederation Cup, and the Champions League. He emphasized the importance of unity among supporters and urged calm amidst criticism, as the club seeks to recover from a turbulent period marked by sanctions, including a home ban.

Ogunmodede will also serve as the head coach for Kano Pillars, with the first training session scheduled for Sunday at Sani Abacha Stadium.
