Kano Pillars Start One-Week Camp in Abuja for NPFL Season

Four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Kano Pillars, have commenced a one-week closed camping exercise in Abuja ahead of the 2026-27 NPFL season. The team, managed by Daniel Ogunmodede, arrived in the Federal Capital Territory on Friday after a series of warm-up matches in Katsina.

This camping exercise is intended to fine-tune their preparations for the upcoming season, during which they will also engage in additional friendly matches. Kano Pillars narrowly avoided relegation on the final day of the previous season and will kick off their 2026-27 campaign with a match against Kwara United in Ilorin on Sunday, 30 August.
