Mohammed Hassan, a member of the House of Representatives for the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, has died following a brief illness. The announcement of his death was made by his special assistant on media, Muazzam Hassan, in a statement released on Friday. The statement expressed deep sorrow and included the phrase "inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un." It was noted that the late lawmaker will be buried on Saturday, April 11, 2026, after funeral prayers scheduled for 1:30 PM at the National Mosque in Abuja. The statement also requested prayers for the deceased's forgiveness and for Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdau. Hassan was recognized for his active participation in legislative activities within the National Assembly. Following the announcement of his passing, condolences began to pour in from constituents and political stakeholders, who described his death as a significant loss to the country.
