Kano State Government Allocates N9.8bn for Road Projects and Flood Control

The Kano State Government is set to allocate N9.8 billion towards executing road projects and flood control measures. Projects approved during the 33rd State Executive Council meeting include solar power streetlights in Kwankwasiyya City, hydraulic structures along Kwanar Durba-Fammar Konau-Kure Road, renovation of Audu Bako Secretariat, and maintenance works on various roads.

The initiatives aim to enhance infrastructure and mitigate flood risks in the state. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf chaired the meeting where these projects were approved.
