Kano Gov’t Allocates ₦3.3bn for Water Supply and Energy Projects

The Kano State Government, led by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved ₦3.3bn for water supply and energy projects. The funds will be used for constructing a modern water treatment plant in Taliwaiwai, Rano Local Government Area, and for settling outstanding electricity bills to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The initiative aims to improve water supply infrastructure across urban and rural areas, enhance energy efficiency, and elevate living standards in Kano State. Governor Yusuf reaffirmed the government's commitment to investing in essential public utilities to advance infrastructure development.
