King Amachree Sport Academy Wins Samuel Okwaraji U-16 Title

King Amachree Sport Academy from Obuama triumphed in the Samuel Okwaraji U-16 football championship, defeating St. Peter's Secondary School 1-0 in the final held in Port Harcourt.

Michael Uniti scored the decisive goal, securing the title for the academy in River State's youth football competition. King Amachree reached the final after overcoming Perfect Brain Secondary School 3-1 in the semi-finals.

The tournament is organized in memory of former Super Eagles midfielder Samuel Okwaraji, who tragically passed away during a FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Angola in 1989. Following this victory, Alhaji Mujahid Abubakr Dokubo Asari, the proprietor of the academy, congratulated the players and coaching staff, emphasizing the importance of investing in youth development.

He also announced a five-year strategic partnership with Eexsport, which will provide technical management, sports science support, and commercial development to enhance the academy's sports programs.
