Katsina Governor Radda Enhances Security After Attack

Following a recent bandit attack on Sayaya village in the Matazu local government area of Katsina State, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has directed the deployment of security reinforcements to enhance safety in the area. The attack, which occurred on a Saturday, involved an ambush on a police station, resulting in the death of a policeman and the looting of several shops and a primary health care center.

In response to this incident, Governor Radda convened an emergency security meeting on Monday, where he promised to adopt a modern approach to combat insecurity in the state. During his visit to Sayaya, he inspected the affected facilities, including the primary health care center and local shops, to assess the extent of the damage.

He expressed his condolences to the families affected by the violence and extended sympathy to the Division Police Officer (DPO) of the area.
