Katsina Commissioner Aids 5,000 Widows with Ramadan Support

On a significant initiative, Hamza Sule Faskari, the Katsina State Commissioner for Environment, assisted 5,000 widows, orphans, and vulnerable individuals with Ramadan packages. This distribution, which took place in Faskari Town, was part of a philanthropic effort aimed at community development across 11 local government areas in the Funtua Zone.

The total value of the food items distributed was N60 million, which included 400 bags of rice, 500 bags of millet, and 300 bags of maize. Additionally, cash assistance amounting to N62 million was provided to various beneficiaries to facilitate a smooth Ramadan fast.

Faskari, who holds the title of Wamban Faskari and Sadaukin Kasar Hausa, expressed his happiness during the distribution event attended by thousands of beneficiaries and local politicians. He emphasized that the gesture was meant to provide succor to the beneficiaries during the holy month of Ramadan, with a commitment to continue such support.
