Katsina State Enhances Media Aides' Skills with AI Training

The Katsina State Government organized a workshop aimed at equipping media aides with skills in social media management and artificial intelligence on a Saturday. The event, led by Director of Media and Communication Maiwada Dammallam, focused on enhancing the professional capabilities of media handlers in line with global digital trends.

Dammallam highlighted the necessity of the training due to the increasing influence of digital communication and the role of artificial intelligence in information dissemination. The workshop's theme emphasized the effective use of social media as a channel for public engagement compared to conventional media outlets.

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who described the initiative as forward-looking, recognized the importance of adopting modern communication strategies. Chairman of Optim Image Media Limited, Shuaibu Mungadi, also noted that social media and artificial intelligence are indispensable tools for effective communication in modern governance.

The training aimed to improve the capacity of media aides to engage the public and implement communication strategies effectively.
