Katsina State Trains Media Aides on AI and Social Media

The Katsina State Government conducted a workshop aimed at training media aides on artificial intelligence and social media communication strategies. The event took place on a Saturday, with the opening ceremony led by Maiwada Dammallam, the Director of Media and Communication.

The workshop's objective is to address unprofessionalism among media aides and equip them with modern communication skills necessary for effective engagement in the digital age. Dammallam emphasized the importance of adapting to global trends in information dissemination and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing communication.

The workshop theme focused on the impact of social media and AI on policy implementation and optimal communication strategies. Jamil Hashimu, the media assistant to the Deputy Governor, expressed optimism that the training would significantly improve the capacity of media aides in effectively communicating government activities to the public.

This initiative reflects the vision of Katsina State Governor Dr. Umaru Radda, who is recognized for embracing modern communication strategies.
