Katsina State Signs N2bn Agro-Processing Deal with Al Hikma Fertilis Chemical Limited

Katsina State Government and Al Hikma Fertilis Chemical Limited have entered a N2 billion agro-processing deal to set up a plant in Tashar Bala, Rimin Kaura village. The agreement, formalized on Tuesday, was signed by the Director-General of Katsina State Investment Promotion Agency (KIPA) Ibrahim Tukur Jikamshi and the Managing Director of Al Hikma Fertilis Chemical Limited, Bashir Ahmad.

The project, expected to commence in 2026, aligns with the state's agricultural investment framework and aims to enhance land use, protect local interests, and promote inclusive development. Governor Dikko Radda also signed an executive order to strengthen the project's implementation and ensure fair compensation for affected landowners.
