Senator Katung Distributes Rice to Southern Kaduna Muslims

Senator Sundai Marshal Katung, representing the Kaduna South Senatorial District, distributed bags of rice to Muslim communities in Southern Kaduna across eight local government areas as part of Ramadan palliative support. The distribution occurred during a brief ceremony where Ilyasu Musa spoke on behalf of the senator.

This gesture is part of Senator Katung's practice of supporting constituents during major religious periods, particularly in light of economic pressures faced during fasting leading up to the Sallah celebration. Ilyasu Musa noted that Senator Katung similarly extended support to Christian communities during Christmas last December, highlighting an inclusive leadership approach aimed at assisting families, particularly those in need and vulnerable during these important periods.
