Clearwater Triumphs at 2nd Dawule Baba Polo Tournament

The 2nd Dawule Baba Memorial Polo Tournament showcased the talents of 14 teams, with Kawo, Kakuri, and Clearwater emerging as top performers. Clearwater defeated a competitive field to secure the Youth Challenge Trophy, marking a significant achievement in the tournament, which is recognized as the second biggest prize in Nigerian polo.

The event was hosted by Mohammad Babangida, the President of Kaduna Polo Club, who emphasized the importance of honoring the legacy of Nigerian polo and its ambassadors. The tournament also featured the unveiling of a women's polo development academy aimed at training young girls to pursue professional careers in the sport.

Gener Kapeh Kazir, the First Vice President of Kaduna Polo Club and Chairman of Clearwater Polo Farm, was present at the ceremony, highlighting the enduring legacy and sportsmanship associated with the event.
