KDIN Workshop Enhances Kano's Startup Ecosystem

The Kano Digit Innov Network (KDIN) organized a two-day capacity-building workshop to enhance the startup ecosystem and support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kano. The workshop's theme centered on reviewing and coordinating action plans for innovation.

Abdulsalam Abdulrashid, the president of KDIN, emphasized the need for entrepreneurs to understand essential business models and value propositions. The workshop aimed to educate participants on proper business management practices and strategies for scaling existing enterprises.

The first day of the program was open to the public, exceeding the initial target of 100 attendees with over 120 participants. The second day featured closed-door sessions for startup founders and ecosystem stakeholders to formulate action plans based on discussions.

Dr. Mustafa Shehu, the executive secretary of the Katsina Development Board, commended the organization for delivering impactful sessions that enhanced understanding of business development and digital market content creation. Samiha Abdulsalam trained participants on leveraging digital tools for business growth.
