600 Entrepreneurs Graduate from Kano Training Program

A training program in Kano successfully graduated 600 entrepreneurs, with a significant focus on women and individuals with disabilities. The initiative, organized by TAFTA, aimed to bridge the employment gap among young people, particularly women, by providing creative skills in sound, light, and animation.

On Thursday, the graduates received their training certificates, marking the culmination of a program that has trained 19,480 beneficiaries over the past four years, including 16,000 women. Ngozi Chukwu Chukwuma, a representative from TAFTA, emphasized the importance of creating a supportive environment for young people to thrive in the creative economy.

The program manager, Abubakar Balarab, highlighted the initiative's role in empowering youth, especially young women, by offering them the skills, mentorship, and networking opportunities necessary for success in the creative sector.
