Kebbi APC Leaders Endorse Governor Idris for 2027

Major stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State have expressed strong support for the re-election of Governor Nasir Idris in the upcoming 2027 governorship election. This endorsement was articulated by Alhaji Abubakar Yelwa, the Managing Director of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission, during a meeting with the Kebbi State Governor’s Media Team in Abuja.

Yelwa cited the “unprecedented development” achieved in various sectors during Idris's first two years in office as the basis for this confidence. He noted that commendations for the governor's efforts have come from diverse groups, including traditional and religious institutions, women and youth groups, and labor unions, transcending ethnic and political affiliations.

Key achievements highlighted include regular scholarship payments, educational infrastructure improvements, pension payments, agricultural support, and healthcare facility upgrades. Ahmad Faruk, Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, also expressed support, stating there is “no vacancy in Kebbi State Government House” due to the governor's accomplishments.
