Kebbi State Launches Campaign Against Drug Abuse in Fulani Communities

Kebbi State government, led by Governor Nasir Idri, has initiated a significant campaign against drug abuse, focusing on Fulani communities across 21 local government areas. The campaign aims to promote attitude change, especially among the youth, to combat the high crime rates associated with drug addiction.

Special Adviser on Nomad Affairs, Muhammad Kiruwa Zuru, and relevant agencies like NDLEA and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association are actively involved in the state-wide campaign. Governor Idri emphasized the need to address drug abuse among Fulani youth to reduce criminal activities and uphold national laws.
