Kebbi Government Launches Major Infrastructure Projects

The Kebbi Government has announced a series of infrastructure development projects aimed at enhancing transportation and economic activities within the state. Key initiatives include the rehabilitation of the 30-kilometer township road in Birnin Kebbi, the dualization of the Argungu old bypass road, and the reconstruction of the Koko Mahuta-Dabai road, which spans 87 kilometers.

Additionally, the government is working on the construction of a modern fuel dump at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport to restore its full operational capacity, facilitating the 2024 Hajj airlift operations. Other projects include the rehabilitation of primary healthcare centers, schools, and drainage systems across various local government areas.

The Deputy Governor, Faruk, emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to transform Birnin Kebbi into a modern city, improve traffic flow, and create better economic opportunities for residents and investors.
