Kebbi State Invests N7 Billion in Urban Renewal Projects

During an inter-ministerial press briefing held at the ultra-modern secretariat complex in Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi, Governor Nasir Idris highlighted a N7 billion investment in urban renewal projects. The initiative, presented by Hayatudeen Bawa, aims to transform Birnin Kebbi into a major economic center and improve living standards through modern infrastructure.

Key components of the project include the procurement and installation of solar-powered streetlights across major locations such as Birnin Kebbi, Zuru, Yauri, Argungu, and Bunza. The government also plans to upgrade major roads to reduce congestion and improve movement within the urban center.

Additional efforts include flood control measures and the installation of modern LCD screens for real-time updates to the community. The Kebbi State Government reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development and delivering democratic dividends to the people.
