Kebbi Governor Approves Creation of Four New Villages and Appoints District Head for Improved Local Governance

The Kebbi State Government has approved the creation of four new villages in the Argungu Local Government Area and appointed Sanusi Muhammad Toga as the District Head of Sarkin Yamman Gwazange. This decision follows a resolution by the Argungu Local Government Council in line with the Kebbi State Local Government Law 2008.

The newly established villages are Sarkin Yamman, Magaji Bela, Ubandawakin Wali, and Darakwai. The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Garba Umar, stated that the move aims to improve local administration and bring governance closer to the people.

The newly appointed district head is tasked with upholding justice, fostering peace, and promoting development in the domain.
