Kebbi Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife in Domestic Violence Incident

A man identified as Sule Gurmu was arrested by the Kebbi State Police Command for allegedly killing his wife, Umaima Maidawa, in a domestic violence incident in Bayawa, Augie Local Government Area. The incident occurred on January 13, 2026, when Gurmu reportedly struck his 25-year-old wife with a wooden handle hoe during a dispute, leading to her death.
