Kebbi PDP Rejects Tanimu Turaki as Consensus Candidate for National Chairman Position

The Kebbi State chapter of the PDP has rejected the endorsement of Tanimu Turaki as the consensus chairmanship candidate for the party's national chairman position. This decision came after Northern PDP leaders, including Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, endorsed Turaki.

However, the Kebbi PDP Public Secretary, Sani Dododo, stated that the decision to reject Turaki was based on the lack of consultation with key stakeholders in the Northwest region. The party's leadership in the state distanced itself from Turaki's nomination, urging the party's National Working Committee to allow the North West region to produce its consensus candidate.
