Nigeria and Kenya Drive Governance Reform at APSCA 2026

The 2026 Africa Public Sector Conference & Awards (APSCA), taking place from October 14 to 16 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, will feature Nigeria's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Kenya's public service leadership among key participants. The conference, themed “Governance 2030: Resilient Institutions for a Digital, Green & Secure Africa,” aims to address how African nations can strengthen institutions to tackle digital, environmental, security, and economic challenges.

Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the APC National Chairman, will lead the Nigerian delegation and deliver a keynote address titled “The Party as Platform: How Governing Parties Can Architect Digital, Green and Secure Governance for 2030.” This discussion will focus on translating political mandates into effective institutions and public services. The event will also feature 12 specialized forums on critical development areas, emphasizing the need for collaboration among governments, businesses, and civil society for effective governance.
