Keyamo and Umo Eno Launch Uyo-Ghana International Flight

On Saturday, Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, accompanied Governor Pastor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State on the inaugural international flight from Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo to Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana. This historic flight marks a major milestone for Nigeria's aviation sector and signifies the official commencement of international flight operations at the airport.

The event is seen as a bold vision to sustain investment in aviation infrastructure, aiming to position Akwa Ibom State as a regional hub for global air connectivity. Keyamo emphasized the importance of this development for boosting tourism, trade, and investment, which will create jobs and enhance regional integration within West Africa.
