Kida Praises Tinubu for D’Tigress Reward Payment

Engr. Musa Kida, the President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the timely payment of financial rewards promised to D’Tigress and their officials after the team’s success at the 2025 FIBA Women’s Afrobasket Championship. Kida characterized this payment as a significant acknowledgment of the players' and officials' hard work and sacrifices.

He stated that such gestures would enhance the morale of D’Tigress and send a positive message to athletes nationwide regarding the recognition of their efforts. Kida noted that the prompt disbursement reflects the government's commitment to sports development and the crucial role athletes play in enhancing Nigeria's image.
