Klopp Set to Replace Nagelsmann as Germany Coach

Jürgen Klopp, currently with Red Bull, has reached a principal agreement to become the new head coach of the German men's national football team, following the resignation of Julian Nagelsmann after the team's early exit from the World Cup. Klopp met with senior officials from the German Football Association (DFB), including President Bernd Neuendorf and Vice President Hans-Joachim Watzke, in New York to discuss the potential appointment.

A DFB statement confirmed that while an agreement has been reached at a key point, contract negotiations will continue next week. Klopp is expected to sign a four-year contract, marking his first coaching role after a nine-year tenure at Liverpool, which will conclude in the summer of 2024.

His return to coaching comes amid speculation linking him to various clubs, including Real Madrid.
