KLT Customs Revenue Surges to N13.7 Billion, ACG Edelduok Leads Operational Reforms

The Nigeria Customs Service's Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) command has disclosed a revenue increase to N13.7 billion from January to October 2025, marking a 47% rise compared to the same period in 2024. ACG Eghosa Edelduok highlighted operational improvements, such as faster cargo clearance timelines and enhanced trade facilitation strategies.

The command's success in boosting revenue and implementing reforms was acknowledged during a send-off ceremony for Edelduok. The achievements were attributed to increased compliance by traders and clear agents, as well as improved operational efficiency at KLT.

Comptroller General Custom Bashir Adeniyi commended the command's performance and emphasized the importance of stakeholder trust in transforming KLT's operational environment.
