Kogi Governor Calls Diaspora to Support Tinubu's Reforms

On Thursday, Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State addressed Kogites and Nigerians in the United Kingdom, urging them to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic reforms. Speaking at a Town Hall Meeting in London, Ododo called for the diaspora to invest in Kogi State and project a positive image of Nigeria.

He emphasized that the future of Nigeria relies on the collective efforts of its citizens both at home and abroad. Ododo highlighted the importance of unity in Kogi State, stating that the progress achieved is a result of overcoming ethnic and religious divisions.

He praised President Tinubu for making tough decisions, such as the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange market, which have improved states' financial capacities. The Governor also mentioned key federal interventions, including the approval of the Kogi International Airport and the Kogi Free Trade Zone, aimed at transforming the state.
