Kogi, Kaduna, Benue Lead In Applications As Over 1.9 Million Nigerians Apply For NSCDC, NIS, Fire Service Recruitment

Over 1.9 million Nigerians have applied for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and Federal Fire Service recruitment. The exercise, initially set to start on June 26, faced delays due to technical challenges, moving the start date to July 14 and then July 21.

The portal crashed multiple times, leading to temporary suspensions and an extension of the closing date to August 4, later extended to August 11. Data from the CDCFIB portal revealed that Kogi, Kaduna, and Benue had the highest number of applications, with Kano and Niger following closely behind.

The recruitment board thanked Nigerians for their interest and outlined the next phase of the process, advising applicants to stay alert for updates via email, text messages, and the CDCFIB portal in the coming week.
