Recruitment: Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, Immigration Services Board warns Nigerians of fake portals

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a warning to Nigerians about fake recruitment portals circulating online. The board, in a statement signed by Maj Gen Jibril (Rtd), Secretary of the board, emphasized that the approved portal for the recruitment process of the paramilitary agencies is the only legitimate platform.

They cautioned applicants to be vigilant and ignore any other portals created by fraudsters with the intention of misleading and defrauding unsuspecting job seekers. The board assured the public that the recruitment process is transparent and free of charge, emphasizing that no fees are required at any stage of the process.

Job applicants are urged to only use the official portal to avoid falling victim to scams.
