Kogi State Approves Early Salary Payment for Eid Celebrations

The Kogi State Government, under the leadership of Governor Usman Ododo, has approved the early payment of March salaries for civil servants to facilitate their preparations for the upcoming Eid el-Fitr celebrations. This decision was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo.

Fanwo emphasized that the early payment aligns with the administration's commitment to prioritizing the welfare of workers, especially during important religious celebrations. Feedback from civil servants across the state indicated appreciation for this gesture, which is intended to support them during the Eid festivities.

The Kogi State Government reassured its workforce that Governor Usman Ododo will continue to prioritize worker welfare and ensure that civil servants can deliver quality services to the people of Kogi State. Eid el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, is expected to be observed next week on Friday, subject to the sighting of the moon.
