Kano State Orders Early Salary Payment for Eid-el-Fitr

The Kano State Government has directed the immediate payment of March 2026 salaries for civil servants ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations. This announcement was made by Hajia Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the head of service, through a statement issued by the director of public enlightenment, Rukayya Sulaiman, on Saturday.

The early payment is intended to allow workers to prepare adequately for the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr Sallah celebrations in a dignified manner. The statement emphasized that this decision reflects the administration's commitment to the welfare of civil servants and appreciates their dedicated contributions to the development of the state.

Maimota urged civil servants to utilize this gesture responsibly and to continue demonstrating commitment, discipline, and efficiency in discharging their duties to improve service delivery.
