Kogi Poly Suspends Deputy Registrar and Staff Over Fake Results Syndicate

Kogi Polytechnic in Lokoja has suspended its deputy registrar and five staff members after uncovering a major fake result syndicate within the institution. The Rector, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, disclosed this during a press briefing, revealing that the investigation by the ICT security unit exposed a network involving students, non-students, and staff forging diploma and HND results.

Additionally, the Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University in Kabba defended the university's minimum cut-off mark for admissions against the JAMB benchmark. The late former Governor of Oyo State, Dr.

Omololu Olunloyo, was also recognized for his public service contributions.
