Delta State Governor Suspends Delta Poly Rector and Bursar Over Misconduct

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has suspended the Rector and Bursar of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi Uku, for six months due to allegations of financial misconduct and administrative irregularities. The decision, aimed at curbing financial recklessness, was ratified by the institution's visitor.

The suspensions are intended to allow for an unbiased investigation into the allegations, with the Deputy Rector and a senior account officer taking over the roles during the suspension period.
