Kogi Polytechnic Uncovers Certificate Forgery Syndicate

Kogi Polytechnic's Rector, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, disclosed a certificate forgery syndicate involving students and staff members during a press conference in Lokoja, Kogi State. The syndicate included the falsification of documents by a few dishonest staff members, resulting in the suspension of the Deputy Registrar and the arrest of suspects.

The investigation uncovered forged national diploma and higher national diploma results used for admission. Amina Mustapha was found attending the institution with non-existent matriculation details.

The institute emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards academic fraud and unethical conduct.
