Kokopee Reveals Betrayal Behind Davido and VDM Split

Kokopee, an activist and content creator, shared insights into the deteriorating friendship between Verydarkman, also known as Martins Vincent Otse, and music superstar Davido. In a video posted on Instagram on 28 October 2026, Kokopee explained that he had been a mediator during the conflict, communicating privately with both parties to salvage their relationship.

He noted that Verydarkman felt deeply let down by Davido, with betrayal being a central theme in their discord. Kokopee refrained from disclosing specific details of their conversations but described a series of discussions where he conveyed each man's perspective to the other.

He mentioned that Davido disagreed with Verydarkman's interpretation of events, while Verydarkman remained resolute in his feelings. Kokopee also defended his decision to remain silent for a time, asserting that his support for Verydarkman was rooted in honest private counsel rather than public endorsement.
