KWAM 1: Police Receive Petition From NCAA As IGP Orders Investigation

The Nigerian Police received a petition from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regarding an incident involving popular Fuji singer KWAM 1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on August 5, 2025. The police spokesperson, DCP Muyiwa Adejobi, stated that KWAM 1 was accused of engaging in unruly conduct that obstructed the safe operation of an aircraft, leading to a violation of aviation regulations.

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure justice is served. Meanwhile, Nigerian entertainer Mr Macaroni criticized KWAM 1 for his actions, stating that a simple apology is not enough and that there should be real consequences for such behavior.

Macaroni highlighted the need for fairness in the Nigerian justice system and called for equal treatment under the law for all individuals involved in such incidents.
