KWAM 1's Aide Faces Criticism for Disrespectful Gesture
A video featuring Fuji music legend Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, and socialite Abu Abel has gone viral, causing a stir on social media. The clip, which surfaced on Instagram on 7 October 2026, shows Abu Abel performing and then prostrating on stage before KWAM 1, a culturally significant gesture of respect.
During this moment, KC, KWAM 1's aide, was seen patting Abel on the back. Although the interaction appeared friendly, many viewers criticized KC's actions, interpreting them as disrespectful and indicative of a superiority complex.
Commenters suggested that KC's behavior was inappropriate during such a respectful act. The incident has led to a broader discussion online regarding respect and conduct in cultural contexts.
