Kwankwasiyya Movement Members Directed to Join ADC

The Kwankwasiyya Movement has officially instructed its members across Nigeria to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, departs from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). This decision was announced in a statement issued on Saturday by the movement's spokesperson, Habibu Sale.

The directive follows consultations within the movement's leadership regarding political strategies for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The statement indicated that Kwankwaso's decision to join the ADC is part of a broader coalition effort to challenge the presidency of Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential elections.
