Kwankwaso Consults ADC Leaders on Planned Defection

On Thursday, Rabiu Kwankwaso, a 2023 presidential candidate, met with leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as part of ongoing consultations regarding his planned defection to the party. The discussions took place in Kano and Abuja, where Kwankwaso engaged with ADC leadership to finalize his move.

He also mentioned that he would be hosting former Anambra State Governor and Oyo State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, in the near future. Additionally, Kwankwaso disclosed that he is set to represent the Bayelsa West Senatorial District, indicating his active involvement in the political landscape as he prepares for the upcoming 2027 elections.
