Kwankwaso Leaves NNPP, Joins ADC on March 30, 2026

Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement and former governor of Kano State, has decided to leave the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

This transition involves necessary arrangements, as stated by his spokesman, Dr. Habibu.

The official registration with the ADC is scheduled for March 30, 2026, at 12 PM at Gidan Kwankwasiyya, located on Miller Road in Kano. Following this registration, members of the Kwankwasiyya movement have been directed to proceed with registering with the ADC at their respective wards and local government areas immediately thereafter.
