Kwankwaso's Spokesman Denies Threat to Leave NDC

Rabiu Kwankwaso's spokesman has refuted claims suggesting that Kwankwaso threatened to leave the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The spokesman characterized these allegations as mere conjecture and media speculation intended to undermine the party's reputation.

He emphasized that at no point did Kwankwaso express intentions to leave the NDC. This clarification comes in response to reports fueled by political opponents seeking to create an impression of a crisis within the NDC.

The comments were made during an interview that aired over the weekend. The backdrop to this situation includes Kwankwaso's dissatisfaction with recent adjustments to the party's candidate list in Kano State, which has sparked controversy, particularly regarding the replacement of nominees initially submitted by the Kwankwasiyya Movement, a political bloc loyal to the former governor of Kano State.
