Kwara APC Chairman Fagbemi Re-elected, Thanks Tinubu

Sundai Fagbemi was re-elected as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State during the party's state congress held in Ilorin on Tuesday. In his acceptance speech, Fagbemi described his re-election as a rare privilege and thanked party members for their confidence in him.

He acknowledged the support of President Bola Tinubu and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, emphasizing their roles in the party's success. Fagbemi pledged to consolidate the party's development strides and strengthen its democratic foothold in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

He highlighted the achievements of the current administration, including the construction and rehabilitation of 586.09 kilometers of roads over the past six years and the recruitment of 8,912 teachers. Fagbemi expressed optimism about overcoming security challenges and urged party members to remain united and adhere to democratic principles.
