Kwara APC Elders Endorse Dr. Rafiu Ajakay for Reps

On Wednesday, elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, endorsed Dr. Rafiu Ajakay as their candidate for the House of Representatives for the Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun Federal Constituency in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

The endorsement came after a joint statement from at least 24 leaders drawn from 18 wards in the local government area, who described Ajakay as a credible and development-oriented politician capable of effectively representing the constituency in the National Assembly. Dr.

Rafiu Ajakay, a former Chief Press Secretary to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, recently emerged victorious in the APC House of Representatives primary election. The leaders expressed their commitment to public service and urged all aspirants to embrace sportsmanship and support Ajakay, emphasizing the importance of unity for the overall interest of the constituency.
