Court Sentences Three for Currency Counterfeiting in Kwara State

Three individuals, including Olaitan Dina and Opeyemi Jeremiah, have been convicted and sentenced for currency counterfeiting in Kwara State. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) discovered fake Naira notes with identical serial numbers in their possession.

The court found them guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, emphasizing the seriousness of counterfeiting in society. The convicted individuals were sentenced to prison terms as a deterrent against such crimes.

Adebayo Mayowa Abiola was also among those sentenced. The judgment was delivered by Justice Abimbola Awogboro.
