Kwara First Lady Celebrates Governor AbdulRazaq's New Title

At the turbaning ceremony of Governor AbdulRazaq as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate, held at the Atlantic Event Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State, the First Lady commended the governor's development efforts. She expressed gratitude to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for bestowing the title upon the governor, emphasizing the significance of the relationship between traditional institutions and leaders.

The First Lady noted that the Ilorin Emirate's strength is rooted in values such as unity, discipline, and communal responsibility. She highlighted Governor AbdulRazaq's contributions to Kwara's development, including infrastructure, youth and women empowerment, and support for vulnerable groups.

The First Lady, who has known the governor for about 40 years, described him as a man of honourable words and strategic thinking. She prayed for his wisdom and strength in fulfilling his new traditional role, expressing confidence that he would uphold the Sardauna title with grace and responsibility.
