Kwara Governor Meets Tinubu After Deadly Terrorist Attack in Aso Rock

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq visited Aso Rock in Abuja to meet with Bola Tinubu after a terrorist attack in Kaiama, Kwara State, where suspected jihadist fighters killed over 100 people. The attack, suspected to be carried out by a Boko Haram faction, targeted the community, resulting in casualties and destruction.

The President condemned the attack as cowardly and inhuman, expressing support for the affected community and calling for collaboration between federal and state agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice. The Emir of Worro, Saliu Umar, was reported missing following the attack.

The Governor described the incident as cowardly and frustrating, emphasizing the need to combat terrorist cells in the ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the state.
