Nigerian Labor Unions Demand Improved Security and Welfare in Nationwide Protests

Nigerian labor unions, spearheaded by NLC President Joe Ajaero, staged protests across the country demanding enhanced security and welfare for workers. The protests, which included former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, started in Abuja and spread to other states like Lagos, Enugu, and Kano.

Ajaero emphasized that the deteriorating security situation and economic challenges faced by Nigerian workers are non-negotiable. The labor leaders also held discussions with prominent figures like Bola Tinubu to address these pressing issues.
