Labour Party Elects Candidates for Anambra Elections

The Labour Party's Anambra State chapter successfully conducted its primary elections for the 2027 general elections, producing candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives. The elections were held under the supervision of Peter Okoy, the state chairman, utilizing an Option A4 voting system.

The process saw strong participation from member delegates and stakeholders, reflecting the party's commitment to internal democracy and grassroots involvement. The candidates elected include Tochukwu Ikezu for the Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ikenna Okafor for the Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Ifeoma Obiokoy for the Anaocha, Dunukofia, and Njikoka Federal Constituency, and Ujunwa Onyekachi for the Awka North and South Federal Constituency.
